The President's Award
recognizes the efforts of a
service unit meeting its goals
and objectives during the
Girl Scout year. Service units
that meet the criteria are posted in August of every year. Criteria for the award include:
- Service unit team members who are registered Girl Scouts and appropriately trained
- Meeting Annual Fund goals
- Providing all troop cookie program payments by the deadline
- Communicating with all troops and registered individual Girl Scouts in the service unit
- Reflecting diversity in the service unit team
- Maintaining a presence in the community served
